Article 1 — What cookies and local storage are

Cookies are small files stored on the user's device. Local storage (localStorage/sessionStorage) allows information to be saved in the browser itself. This website is designed not to use these technologies, under Law no. 41/2004 and the GDPR.

Article 2 — This site's approach

This website uses no cookies — neither first-party nor third-party, and none for tracking or advertising. It also uses no local storage (localStorage or sessionStorage) and no analytics or audience measurement tools. As there is nothing requiring consent under Article 5(2) of Law no. 41/2004, no cookie banner is shown. The only third-party connection made when pages load is for the Google typefaces, described in Article 4.

Article 3 — Strictly necessary and functional storage

No storage item is placed on the user's device, not even those that would be exempt from consent because they are necessary for the site to function or correspond to a choice made by the user (Article 5(2) of Law no. 41/2004). The pages are static and store no information in the browser.

Article 4 — Google typefaces

The site's typefaces (Playfair Display and Inter) are loaded from Google's servers, at the domains fonts.googleapis.com and fonts.gstatic.com. This does not create cookies, but it does open a connection to Google's servers, which receive the visitor's IP address and the technical data of the request, under Google's privacy policy. Anyone who does not want this processing can block those domains in their browser: the site remains legible, falling back to the system typefaces.

Article 5 — Third-party cookies

No third party places cookies or storage on this website. The only third party contacted while pages load is Google, for the supply of typefaces described in the previous article. Its privacy policy is worth consulting.

Article 6 — Managing in the browser

You can, at any time, block or delete cookies and site data through your browser settings (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge).
